Details

This tubular F-F filter provides a very sharp cut off for any frequencies above 446 MHz. It is primarily used to clean up the spectrum at the entrance of the main RF input of amplifier ABI-EV1012S00, effectively liberating the band above 446 MHz for Home Channels created with modulator ABI-EV1017S00 which are coupled into the secondary RF input of amplifier EV1012S00. This can be useful in installations where a CableTV provider operates a cable network below 450MHz.
The filter can also be used between modulator and amplifier in the cases of an aerial installation, where the modulator is operating in the VHF range 300-450 MHz to block the modulator's harmonics from interfering with aerial signals in the UHF range. In this case the use of filter ABI-FF1003S01 between aerial and amplifier is also recommended.
